Farobi is one of the great thinkers of the Middle Ages in the Islamic world, playing an important role in developing philosophical and political thinking. His work "The Principles of Good Governance" is particularly famous, depicting the ideal state organization. According to Farobi, a person should adhere to perfect ethical principles within society and the state. He died in 950 in Damascus. Farobi commented on the ideas of Plato and Aristotle through his philosophical works, adapting them to Islamic philosophy
