The efficiency of energy, efficient use of energy, and reducing waste are discussed. Uzbekistan has made significant strides in energy efficiency. For example, energy saving indicators in the country improved by 10% in 2022 compared to 2018. More attention is paid to renewable energy sources in the energy sector. Plans to increase production at hydropower stations to 500 megawatts in the coming years are underway. Additionally, documents have been developed to improve energy efficiency in buildings to reach an annual energy savings goal of 15%
