Devoni lug'at ot-turk is an innovative work written by Mahmud Qoshgari. It was created between 1072-1074 and recognized as the first dictionary of Turkic languages. The work highlights the lexical and grammatical features of Turkic languages. Mahmud Qoshgari extensively interacted with Turkic peoples in his writing, familiarizing himself with their language and culture. Devoni lug'at ot-turk contains 6833 words divided into 242 chapters, making a significant contribution to global linguistics as it is translated into several languages
