Tavsif

Wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues. It is simply a disruption of any tissues - soft tissue or bone or internal organs. Clean wounds have an infective rate of less than 2%. Clean contaminated wounds include procedures like appendicectomy and have an infective rate of 10%. Contaminated wounds involve acute abdominal conditions and open fresh accidental wounds with an infective rate of 15-30%. Dirty infected wounds, such as abscess drainage and pyocele, have an infective rate of 40-70%. Primary healing (First Intention) occurs in clean incised or surgical wounds where wound edges can be approximated with sutures, resulting in more epithelial regeneration than fibrosis and a linear, smooth scar.
